snoop lion biggie 2pac

During his latest appearance on Sway in the Morning, Snoop Dogg shared his last memories of two of hip-hop’s biggest losses, The Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac. Snoop kicked it with Biggie in an Atlanta studio soon after ‘Pac’s death, where he played him “Somebody’s Gotta Die” (on which he gave Tha Doggfather a shout-out: “The way Salt shoops and how they sell records like Snoop”) and declared that he never hated 2Pac.

Meanwhile, Snoop’s final encounter with his former Death Row labelmate was a little less friendly. Soon before being shot and eventually killed in Vegas, ‘Pac ignored his “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” partner for publicly showing love to Biggie and Puffy. Snoop remembered taking a flight with Suge, ‘Pac and the Death Row crew, and going to sleep holding a knife for fear of his life.
