Snoop Dogg Discusses Conflict with 2Pac and Friendship with Biggie
Posted by Andy B. under Videos[9] Comments
During his latest appearance on Sway in the Morning, Snoop Dogg shared his last memories of two of hip-hop’s biggest losses, The Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac. Snoop kicked it with Biggie in an Atlanta studio soon after ‘Pac’s death, where he played him “Somebody’s Gotta Die” (on which he gave Tha Doggfather a shout-out: “The way Salt shoops and how they sell records like Snoop”) and declared that he never hated 2Pac.
Meanwhile, Snoop’s final encounter with his former Death Row labelmate was a little less friendly. Soon before being shot and eventually killed in Vegas, ‘Pac ignored his “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” partner for publicly showing love to Biggie and Puffy. Snoop remembered taking a flight with Suge, ‘Pac and the Death Row crew, and going to sleep holding a knife for fear of his life.

Comparing the Chris Brown/Drake situation is ridiculous. Nowhere near the same level. SMH. As if these new guys are about that life like that…

It’s weird that Anothony Mackie randomly showed up at the end and nobody made the connection.

Whats missing from Snoops story about pac that after he went on Angie show Pac got mad and was talking about it, security told snoop, snoop said fuck pac and didnt show up for rehersals of a performance on some show they was doing,Pac got heated and went off..then snoop didnt show up for the show all together, Ice T filled in for Snoop and thats what really sent Pac off the deep end..
Snoop told part of it but nothing that would make him look bad..Nigga man up and tell th whole story the boogey man not gon get you..

So what are you suggesting ?

I didn’t think of Anthony Mackie playing Pac in that Biggie movie until you said it.
Maybe that was the movie Snoop was trying to think of before Mackie suggested “She Hate Me”.
I don’t think “Notorious” was a big enough hit to stay in people’s minds like that. I still haven’t seen the whole thing myself.
